Bring your projects to your desktop.
The TaskForce web app at app.taskforce-project.fr is closing. TaskForce goes on as a free desktop app, with your projects on your own computer. Your account stays: sign in with it, and bring your work along.
The closing date will be posted on this page.

Install the desktop app
Download TaskForce for macOS, Windows or Linux.

Sign in with your account
Use the email address and password you use on the web app. Your account stays the same.

Bring your projects
TaskForce sees your web app projects and asks whether to bring them to this computer. Say yes, and they arrive with their comments and history.

Save what doesn't move
Before the web app closes, copy the Brain OS pages and download the attachments you want to keep. The list is below.

About the move.
Why is the web app closing?
TaskForce is becoming a desktop app: your projects on your own computer, instead of on our servers. It is free and open source.
What happens to the data left on the web app?
Your projects on the web app are deleted when it closes. Your account stays, so you keep signing in to the desktop app with it.
Will you tell me before it closes?
Yes. Every web app account receives an email before the web app closes, with the date and the steps on this page.
Can my team keep working together?
The desktop app is made for one person, with no sync between computers. Each teammate can install it and import the projects they work on.
Can I keep a copy of my account data?
Yes. In the web app, open Settings, then Privacy & Data, and click Export my data. You get a JSON file with your personal data.
I prefer a spreadsheet. Is there another format?
Yes. In the web app, a project's Export menu offers CSV (issues and details): one row per issue, ready for any spreadsheet.
