TaskForce
Agents

Hand off the work. Keep the control.

Give an issue to Claude Code or GitHub Copilot. TaskForce hands the agent the context it needs, shows you every step, and waits for you before anything risky.

A run, from start to finish

Five steps, all on the issue.

Everything happens on the issue: you assign it, you watch it, you answer when it asks, and you review what comes back.

  1. 01

    You assign it

Pick an agent in the issue's assignee menu. Only agents ready for this project are offered.

    Claude Code
  2. 02

    It gets the context

The agent reads the issue and its comments, and searches Brain OS for the decisions that relate to it.

    Design tokens
  3. 03

It works on its own branch

Claude Code works in a separate copy of your repository, on a new branch. Your checkout is never touched.

  4. 04

    It asks before going further

Anything outside its allowed actions waits for your Allow or Deny on the issue. No answer in 10 minutes means no.

    AllowDeny
  5. 05

    It hands the work back

A pull request, or a comment when there is no code. The issue moves to “In review by AI”, and merging stays your call.

Limits

What the agent can touch.

Every run gets the same limits, whatever the agent is asked to do. TaskForce sets them, not the agent.

  • Your repository

A separate copy on a new branch. Your checkout and your current branch are never touched.

  • Your computer

Reading, editing and committing are allowed. Anything else, like running the tests, waits for your approval. Pushing is always refused.

  • TaskForce

Your rights, narrowed to reading the workspace and writing the issues of that project. It never deletes anything.

  • GitHub

Nothing directly. TaskForce pushes the branch and opens the pull request once the agent is done.

The text of an issue is written by people, so it is handed to the agent as task data, never as instructions. A cloned repository can't change how the agent runs either: its own agent settings are ignored.

Your agents

Use the agent you already have.

On your computer

Claude Code

Your own Claude Code, installed on your computer and signed in with your own subscription or API key. TaskForce starts it for each run and never sees your Claude credentials.

  • Claude Code installed and signed in
  • A git repository for code tasks, or none for everything else

In GitHub's cloud

GitHub Copilot

GitHub's coding agent works in GitHub's cloud, from your issue and under your GitHub account. TaskForce follows the task and shows you the pull request on the same issue.

  • A Copilot plan with the coding agent turned on for the repository
  • The project linked to a GitHub repository

Questions

About agents.

Does TaskForce use my Claude subscription?

Your own Claude Code does, exactly as when you run it yourself. TaskForce starts Claude Code on your computer and never handles your Anthropic login or tokens. The usage counts against your own plan or API key.

What happens if I don't answer an approval?

After 10 minutes the request is denied, and the agent goes on without that action.

Which model does the agent use?

Claude Code uses your own default model, the one set in your Claude Code settings. Copilot uses the model GitHub picks for the task.

Can I use an agent for work that isn't code?

Yes. When a project has no repository, Claude Code works in a temporary folder and answers with a comment on the issue: research, a draft, a summary. The same limits apply.

Could someone hijack the agent through an issue?

The text of an issue is handed to the agent as task data, never as instructions. And whatever a planted sentence asks for, the limits above still hold: commands wait for your approval, nothing is deleted in TaskForce, and nothing is merged without you.
