TaskForce
Features

One app for the plan, the memory and the agents.

TaskForce keeps your projects, your notes and your AI agents together on your desktop. Here is what it does today.

Plan

Plan the work your way.

Write the work down the way you think about it, then organize it the way you deliver it. Comments and time tracking come with every issue.

Memory

A memory that stays with the project.

Brain OS holds what you know about a project: specs, decisions, notes and documents.

  • Pages in a tree, written in Markdown, with #tags and [[wikilinks]]
  • Search by meaning when an embedding model is available, by keywords otherwise
  • Attach images and documents to your pages
  • Agents and the assistant search it before they start
Agents

Hand off tasks, not control.

Assign an issue like you would to a person. The agent asks before anything outside its limits.

Delegate to an agent

Assign an issue to Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, then follow the run on the issue.

  • Only the agents ready for the project are offered
  • Each run works on its own branch, followed live
  • Claude Code on your computer, Copilot in GitHub's cloud
  • A pull request at the end, or a comment when there is no code

Answer when it asks

Agents ask before anything outside their limits. You answer on the issue, and the run goes on or stops there.

  • Commands outside the allowed actions wait for your Allow or Deny
  • No answer in 10 minutes means no
  • Pushing is always refused: TaskForce opens the pull request itself
  • TaskForce never merges: the final call is yours
Assistant and analytics

Ask your projects, see where you stand.

An assistant that knows your work

Ask about your projects in plain words. It reads your board and Brain OS, and can use the tools you connect.

  • Answers grounded in your board and your Brain OS pages
  • Drafts issues from a rough idea
  • Uses the tools of the MCP servers you connect
  • Runs on your local model or on the API key you choose

Analytics from your own board

See how the work moves without building a spreadsheet. Everything is computed from your board.

  • Throughput: what got done each week, against what came in
  • Burndown for each cycle
  • Workload and capacity, for you and your agents
Connections

Works with what you already use.

Plug TaskForce into the tools you already use. Each connection is one you set up, and you can remove it at any time.

Every day

Small things, done well.

The small things that make an app pleasant to live in, every day.

  • A command palette

Open it with Ctrl K or Cmd K to create an issue, go anywhere in the app or ask the AI.

  • Light and dark

Both themes, or the one your system uses.

  • Easier to read

A dyslexia-friendly font and color-blind palettes, in the settings.

Your projects, your agents, your computer.
